Migrant Services

RHA manages a 75-unit apartment building for migrant families during the growing season. Seasonal housing is typically offered starting May 1 and ending October 31.

How the Process Works

When the waiting list is open, applications are accepted in office, by mail or by fax.

Applicants must provide sufficient documentation to verify that their residency has been outside a 50 miles radius of this migrant center for at least 3 months out of the preceding 6 month period.

About the Program

The Office of Migrant Services partners with the Housing Authority to provide migrant families with seasonal housing in Yuba City.

Typically, the season begins May 1 and ends October 31 with extensions granted depending on the growing season.
